8:59 a.m. An investigation was conducted at a Topaz Circle residence in regards to a report of identity theft.


March 2


12:22 a.m. An investigation is ongoing into the report of harassing telephone calls being made to a Hood Drive residence.


March 3


1:26 a.m. Following a call to 440 Fairground Boulevard regarding a vehicle engine being revved continuously for over an hour, Darren M. Gray, 40, 440 Fairground Blvd., was charged with physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated.


1:26 a.m. Following a traffic stop on South Broad Street for a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign, Kristin M. Nagy, 26, 1462 Natman Road, Deerfield, was charged with operating a vehicle impaired, was cited for the stop sign violation and her vehicle was impounded.   


March 5


4:39 p.m. Following a traffic stop on West Main Street for a vehicle with a cracked windshield, John C. Walters, 68, 803 Donald St., Akron, was charged with no operator’s license and fictitious registration, and was cited for an unsafe vehicle.


6:56 p.m. Following a report of dogs barking for over three hours on Hillside Drive, Donald W. Fouse, 29, 535 South Hillside Drive was cited a violation of the barking dog ordinance.


10:25 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street for a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign, Christopher J. Milford, 30, 176 South Broadway, Salem, was charged with operating a vehicle impaired, was cited for a marked lanes violation and speeding, and his vehicle was impounded.


March 6


10:00 a.m. An investigation is ongoing into the report of harassing telephone calls being made to a Shadydale Drive residence.


11:51 p.m. Following a report of two male subjects at large following a traffic accident on the Ohio Turnpike, Lamont D. Vales, 34, 6700 Foreman Ave., Cleveland was located walking on East Main Street and was taken into custody and charged with drug abuse, then was held for Ohio State troopers who were conducting the crash investigation on the Turnpike.


March 7


4:27 a.m. Following a traffic stop on South Hillside Drive for a vehicle committing several moving violations, Andrea N. Martin, 22, 10650 Shadowood Trail, Canfield, was charged with operating a vehicle impaired (refusal of test), was cited for a marked lanes violation, and her vehicle was impounded.


March 8


2:53 a.m. Following a traffic stop on West Main Street for a vehicle traveling left of center, Stephen R. Thomas, 59, 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, Canfield, was charged with no operator’s license and was cited for a marked lanes violation.
