EDWARD C. DAVIS SR., 63

Services were held Jan. 30 at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Edward C. Davis Sr., 63, of Austintown, who passed away the morning of Jan. 26 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after being stricken at work.


Ed was born Jan. 2, 1947 in Youngstown, the son of Lynn and Lois (Pennell) Davis. He was a lifelong area resident and worked in quality control at General Motors Lordstown. He was a 43-year member of the UAW Local #1112 and had attended Austintown Community Church.


Ed leaves his son, Edward C. Jr., and his fiancee, Christina Haynes of Austintown, as well as two granddaughters, Alexis and Britney, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
