Spartans fall to Mooney in OT 54-52; JVs take home win

Boardman’s Joe Morkovitch lets it fly despite being fiercely defended by a Mooney player in last week’s Boardman-Mooney JV game that ended in a 48-36 Spartan win.

Boardman’s J.V. cheerleaders helped inspire the Spartan team to a 48-36 win over Mooney on Jan. 26. Squad members include, in front, Jasmyn Byrne, Amy Cartwright, Jamie Jones. Lexi Paidas, and in back, Faith Marsco,  Gina DeVicchio, and Jenny Bresnahan. The team is coached by Jaclyn Burke.
