Koontz and Watson plan for August nuptials

The engagement of Amanda Marie Koontz, daughter of Kevin and Michele Koontz of Louisville, and Andrew Joseph Watson, son of Beau and Cheri Watson of Austintown, is being announced by their parents.


The couple has planned their wedding for Aug. 7, 2010, at Austintown Community Church in Austintown, with a reception to follow at St. Mary's Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.


Miss Koontz graduated with honors in 2009 from Walsh University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She is currently a student in the master of Occupational Therapy program at the University of Pittsburgh.


Mr. Watson will graduate this month from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree in secondary education in integrated social studies.
