Abby Ducay and Brian Mosier, both of Columbus, exchanged nuptial vows at 2:30 p.m. July 11 as they were united in marriage at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown. Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Earl and Laurel Ducay of Poland and the son of Rick and Sheri Mosier of Celina. After a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield, the couple left on a honeymoon trip to California.

The bride’s strapless taffeta A-line gown featured a jeweled, rouched bodice and chapel-length train. She held a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.

Wearing apple green colored gowns were the honor attendant, Nicole Lepore, and the bridesmaids Aslyne Rodriguez and Kim Gazdik.

Brett Mosier was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Matt Ducay, the bride’s brother, and Brad Shaffer and Brian Sherman, friends of the groom. Acting as ushers were the groom’s cousins, Nick and Sean Schultz.

The bride is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and earned a master’s degree from Ohio State University in Columbus in labor and human resources. She is employed as a human resource associate at the Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital.

Her husband holds a degree in accounting and business economics from Ohio University and is a CPA while employed as accounting manager for the Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation in Columbus.
