Mediterranean honeymoon for Turek and Stelluto

Melissa J. Turek and Michael W. Stelluto were married during a ceremony Aug. 22 at St. Joseph Church in Austintown. Officiating at the event was the Rev. John Trimbur.

Following a reception at The Links at Firestone Farms, the couple left on a 12-night Mediterranean cruise. They live in Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of Dorie Turek of Austintown, and the late William Turek. The mother of the groom, Kathy Stelluto, is also from Austintown.

The bride's ivory silk A-line dress featured a modified sweetheart neckline, a chapel-length train, and was embellished with beaded embroidery.

Cheryl Turek, sister of bride, attended to her sister as maid of honor, while Melissa Sarisky, Stephanie Lavanty, and Mary Jones, friends of bride, served as bridesmaids. They wore peony-colored A-line dresses. Adria Stelluto, niece of groom, was the flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for the groom was his brother, Joe Stelluto. Nick Monaco, cousin of groom, and Chris Haus and Eli Figueroa, friends of groom, served as groomsmen.

The new Mrs. Stelluto is a 1996 graduate of the Choffin School of Practical Nursing. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse by Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.

Mr. Stelluto attended Youngstown State University. He is employed by Eclipse Aftermarket Group in Boardman.
