Exercising their passion for others

The Town Crier
Photo special to the Town Crier
At the Poland Curves, members are collecting change to make a change in the lives of children. The members are not using a piggy bank to collect the money, but rather a toilet, on loan from Tom Duncan. The Mission of Love, headquartered in Austintown, is hoping to provide urinals for Casa Guatemala, a school for orphaned, abandoned, or abused children, located in the jungle on the banks of the Rio Dulce. To help with this project, Kathie Rosa, owner of the Poland Curves, agreed to promote this project for several weeks. Pictured are Rosa and Bev Hobart from the Poland Curves. Throughout the year, the members of the Poland Curves support a number of agencies in the Mahoning Valley with gifts and money.
