Funeral services were held Nov. 7 at the Canfield Presbyterian Church for Jeanette C. Anderson of Columbus, formerly of Skyline Drive in Canfield, who died the evening of Nov. 3 at Mayfair Village in Columbus.
Jeanette was born Aug. 3, 1916 in Jamestown, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Jennie T. (Taylor) Johnson. She had worked as a bookkeeper, receptionist and secretary for various businesses in the area. Jeanette was the original member of the Cantowners and had belonged to the Bridge Club, Chi Chi Girls and Friendship Club.
Her husband, Raymond E. Anderson Jr., whom she married April 19, 1941, died May 5, 1999. She is survived by three children: Raymond William (Elizabeth) Anderson of Petaluma, Calif., Terence Lee (Debra) Anderson of Tupelo, Miss., and Douglas Patrick (Kim) Anderson of Plain City. She also leaves three grandchildren: David, Scott and Kent Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Karin, Aliyah, Carley, Jadelyn, Kalyn and Thomas Knoll Anderson. Beside her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur W. Johnson Jr., and a grandson, Eric Tyler Anderson.
