Poland wins 38-14 to advance in playoffs

Poland’s Darius Patton can score at any place on the field as he proved last Friday by taking the ball to the one yard line last Friday against St. Vincent St. Mary. The Bulldogs won the contest 38-14 and will play in Uniontown Alumni Field at Blue Streak Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday against third seed Akron Hoban.

Bulldogs Tim Dalesandro and Mike Day pounded a St. Vincent St. Mary running back last Friday. The Dogs went on to win, 38-14 to advance in the state playoffs.

A determined Luke Wollet would not be denied the end zone against St. Vincent St. Mary in last week’s game.
