Glade and Anne Pauley of Hudson, Gregory and Nancy Pauley of Canfield, Stephanie and Kent Winegar of Forsyth, Ill., and Garth Pauley of Cuyahoga Falls welcomed family and friends of their parents for the celebration.
Thomas Pauley and the former Madalyne Morrison were married at Austintown Community Church by the Rev. Arthur V. Swinehart on Sept. 12, 1959. Their wedding reception took place on the lawn at the home of the bride's parents, Glade and Jane Morrison.
Tom Pauley, a top-producing Realtor for Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate, was vice president and general manager of Ponderosa Park in Salem, a well-known country music venue. The family-owned entertainment business was started in 1968 by his parents, Bill and Fran Pauley, formerly of Canfield. He also was in sales with the Lyden Oil Company prior to Ponderosa Park. Mr. Pauley is a graduate of Penn State University and active in the Penn State Alumni Club.
Mrs. Pauley is a graduate of Kent State University and is currently employed as secretary of Hilltop Elementary School in Canfield. She was previously career development coordinator at the Columbiana County Career Center in Lisbon.
The couple are active members of the Canfield United Methodist Church. Mr. Pauley is a member of the Canfield Rotary Club, and both Mr. and Mrs. Pauley have been honored as Paul Harris Fellows.
Buffet and guest tables featured nosegays of peach-colored Tropicana roses in hurricane vases with gold and peach accents. Wall posters featuring original wedding photos, a mixed-media montage of family memories and a slide presentation were organized and presented by the Pauley grandchildren: Brandon, Brianna, Danielle, Blake, Brad and Catie Pauley, and Mitchell Winegar.
