October 8


8:31 a.m. A report was taken after a construction fence fell and damaged a vehicle at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center on Palmyra Road.


4:03 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Lisbon Street for a vehicle with a defective muffler, Michael J. Kohn, 28, 1753 Harding St., Girard, was charged with driving under suspension and was cited for inadequate exhaust. A passenger, Danielle Johntony, 28, 757 Rhoda St., Youngstown, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and falsification, and was taken into custody on a Mahoning County warrant for failure to appear on an OVI charge.


8:29 p.m. A report was taken after an Oak Street resident discovered a missing paycheck that was sitting on the seat of a vehicle parked at the residence.


October 9


10:04 p.m. Following a traffic stop on North Hillside Drive for a vehicle passing a group of vehicles , Daniel J. Habuda, 18, 1515 Coit Road, Lowellville, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, underage possession of alcohol, and was cited for a marked lanes violation.


October 10


6:26 p.m. Following a traffic stop on East Main Street for a vehicle going left of center, Michael A. Currie, 53, 1530 Roman St., Warren, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, was cited for a marked lanes violation and his vehicle was impounded.


October 12


5:21 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Cardinal Drive for a vehicle with only one functioning headlight, Jason M. Good, 34, 3772 Mercedes Place, Canfield, was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for the headlight violation.
