The Poland Seminary High School girls golf team ended up placing second at the state tournament last weekend in Columbus. The team scored 326-351 to go 16 shots down to state champion Chardon Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, who scored 332-326. The Poland team is comprised of, in front, seniors Angela Molaskey and Mariah Groner and standing, senior Meredith McKay, junior Allison Mitzel and sophomore Maria Mancini.
