The Rev. Dr. David Gilbert officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony that joined the daughter of Don and Amy Friedrich of Poland and the son of Tom and Carol Kelley of Boardman in matrimony.
A reception was held in the couple’s honor immediately following the ceremony at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
The bride wore a gown of ivory silk with a dropped ruched waist and a fingertip-length veil, and she carried a bouquet of ivory roses.
Wearing matching steel blue gowns were the bridal attendants, including matron of honor Emily Sagle of Newfoundland, N.J., sister of the bride, and maid of honor Melanie Stoops of Cuyahoga Falls, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kait Kelley of Boardman, sister of the groom, Stephanie Presley of Columbus, Cousin of the bride, and Jessica Hughes of Fort Myers, Fla., and Mandi Tishman of Atlanta, friends of the bride.
Performing the duties of best man were Pat Kelley and Jamie Kelley of Boardman, brothers of the groom. The groomsmen included Tim Friedrich of Poland, brother of the bride, and Anthony Modarelli of Hoboken, N.J., Conrad Straub of Los Angeles, Sam Maimone of Cleveland, Paul Wilkie of Columbus and Stelio Frangopoulos of Columbus, all friends of the groom.
The new Mrs. Kelley graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management. She works as an assistant manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Columbus.
Mr. Kelley graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and psychology. He is continuing his education as a fourth-year medical student at Ohio State University.
Following a honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii, they have settled in Columbus.
