Monmonier to become bride of Hewko in Maryland

The engagement and upcoming marriage of Christina Maria Monmonier and Brian William Hewko are being announced by their parents, Donna and Sean Davis of Baltimore, Md., and Joseph Monmonier of Venice, Fla., and Kathryn Hewko of Canfield.  Mr. Hewko is also the son of the late Basil J. Hewko.


The couple are both graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. The bride-to-be earned bachelor of science degrees in military arts and science, and systems engineering. The future groom graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in human geography and mechanical engineering. They are both lieutenants in the U.S. Army and are attending flight school at Fort Rucker, Ala.


Invitations have been issued for the couple's early September wedding at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Baltimore, with an evening reception to follow at Maryvale Castle in Brooklandville, Md.
