The daughter of Joseph and Carmela Woodall of Youngstown, the bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in social work. She is employed in management with Giant Eagle.
The future groom is the son of Mark and Cheryl Palkovic of Austintown, and earned a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, majoring in finance. He is employed at Armstrong Utilities as a broadband premises specialist, and with the Austintown Fire Department as a firefighter/EMT.
The couple will be married during an open ceremony at noon on Oct. 24 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception to be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Youngstown.
