August 20, 2009
The Town Crier
Beau Halcomb and his bride, the former Rebecca Preston, were joined in matrimony in the vineyards of the Debonne Winery in Madison on June 17. The Rev. Michael Roberts officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony that united the daughter of Brenda and David Gregory of Canfield and James and Wendy Preston of Oxfordshire, England, with the son of Robert and Keri DeJulio of Hubbard.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the couple’s honor in the Debonne Vineyards. They have made their home in Boardman.

The bride wore a strapless A-line Jasmine Couture gown of alternating rouched silk taffeta accented with Swarovski crystals and featuring a drop-scoop waist with bubble skirt and a chapel-length train. In lieu of a veil, the bride wore an apple green flower embellished with Swarovski crystals in her hair.

Honor attendant for the bride was Jodi Muzevich of Chicago, a friend of the bride. She wore an apple green gown, as did the bridesmaids, Kristy McKee of Greenville, S.C., cousin of the bride, Meghan Gregory of Warren, stepsister of the bride, and Chris Probst of Poland, friend of the bride. The flower girl was Jade Preston of Golden, Colo., cousin of the bride.

The brother of the groom, Nick Halcomb of Hubbard, performed the duties of best man. The groomsmen included Jon DeJulio of Deltona, Fla., David DeJulio of Hubbard, and Andrew DeJulio of Tulsa, Okla., brothers of the groom; Ryan Preston of Columbus, brother of the bride; and Clint Gault of Avon, Adam Carano of Hubbard, Joe Crook of Poland, Benito Velazquez of Boardman and William Valinsky of Youngstown, friends of the groom.

The new Mrs. Halcomb graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in visual marketing. She is employed as a interior designer for Ethan Allen in Boardman.

Mr. Halcomb is currently attending YSU towards a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is employed as a CSR manager with Salem Community Hospital in Salem.
