July 17


12:04 a.m. - Following investigation of a vehicle possibly related to an earlier incident, Monique E. Hasley, 30, 4109 Hillman St., Youngstown, was arrested on Market Street at Midlothian on a failure to appear warrant from Mahoning County and an assault warrant from Youngstown Police.


12:15 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported from the maintainance office at Southern Park Mall, 7401 Market St.


12:34 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported from a Jennette Drive residence.


12:05 p.m. - A motorcycle theft was reported from the carport of a Lockwood Boulevard residence.


11:59 a.m. - A theft from auto was reported at the station.


12:00 p.m. - Dayne F. Rambo, 45, 514 E. Western Reserve Road, was arrested at his residence on a domestic violence warrant from Columbiana County.


1:52 p.m. - Following a foot chase from Celebrity Sportswear, 3980 Hillman Way, to the yard of an Alburn Drive residence, Richard A. McKenzie, 34, 826 Seventh St., Warren, was arrested for criminal simulation, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and on a failure to appear warrant from Trumbull County.


1:31 p.m. - Ashley M. Medeiros, 20, 3259 GlenOaks Drive, Youngstown, and Joshua M. Scofinsky, 40 Bouquet Ave., Youngstown, were arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.


6:45 p.m. - Jennifer A. Headley, 28, 48581 Belmont Ave., East Liverpool, was arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Sears, Southern Park Mall.


11:19 p.m. - A Boardman juvenile was arrested for unruly behavior at an Oles Avenue residence.


1:46 p.m. - Ronald H. Johnson Sr., 55, 397 Redondo Road, Youngstown, was arrested at his residence on a criminal simulation warrant. 


11:40 a.m. - Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force assisted Boardman officers in arresting Deron C. Wilson, 19, 732 Brentwood, Youngstown, at his residence on warrants of aggravated burglary, assault and domestic violence.


9:46 p.m. - A drug overdose was reported at the Wagon Wheel Motel, 7015 Market St.





July 18


2:10 p.m. - A theft was reported from a West Parkside Drive residence.


5:03 p.m. - A theft was reported at the station.


11:16 p.m. - Following a foot pursuit in the area of Melbourne Avenue, a Boardman juvenile was arrested for criminal trespass and disturbing the peace. Two other Boardman juveniles, 16 and 15 years old, were cited for disorderly conduct.


12:04 p.m. - Reid P. Amey, 23, 6960 Ron Park Place, was arrested at his residence on an interference with custody warrant from Portage County. 


7:40 a.m. - Menacing and telephone harassment was reported at the station.


9:29 a.m. - A theft from vehicle was reported at the station.





July 19


12:02 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard, Timmy L. Bowser, 38, 756 Nellbert Lane, was arrested for OVI and cited for failure to dim highbeams and left of center.


11:31 p.m. - An attempted burglary was reported at a Sciota Avenue residence.


12:51 p.m. - A breaking and entering was reported at a Hopkins Road residence.


4:50 p.m. - Aggravated menacing and telecommunications harassment was reported at the station.


6:49 p.m. - An assault and a theft were reported at a Tam-O-Shanter residence.


1:32 p.m. - A Youngstown 16-year-old was arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.





July 20


3:30 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on Midlothian Boulevard at Interstate 680, Vanets Jones III, 24, 135 Narcissa St., Struthers, and Justin J. Jones, 23, same address, were arrested for possession of cocaine.


8:55 p.m. - Following a reported shoplifting at Family Video, 5205 Market St., Anthony L. Tate, 41, 550 W. Chalmers Ave. #111, Youngstown, was arrested in front of Shell True North, 5135 Market St., for theft, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia.


2:03 p.m. - Criminal simulation and aggravated menacing incidents were reported from Huntington Bank locations at 3960 South Ave. and 7235 South Ave.


12:36 p.m. - A theft at the YMCA, 45 McClurg Road, was reported at the station.


4:52 p.m. - Domestic violence was reported at an Eisenhower Drive residence.


6:33 p.m. - Crminal damaging was reported from a Shelby Road residence.


8:38 p.m. - A theft from auto was reported from the parking lot at St. Luke’s Church, 5225 South Ave.


2:05 p.m. - A grand theft auto from the Town and Country Motel, 5235 Market St., was reported at the station.





July 21


2:32 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on Southern Boulevard, Daniel J. Niehorster, 22, 4641 South Ave., was arrested on a pair of probation violation warrants from Mahoning County.


2:44 a.m. - Following an incident with a neighbor, Roger B. White, 26, 4055 South Ave., 7th St., #8, was arrested at his residence for menacing.


10:07 p.m. - Following a single-vehicle crash on Overhill Road at Stratford, Charles A. Lomax, 70, 176 Overhill Road, was arrested for OVI and cited for failure to control.


8:12 p.m. - Criminal mischief was reported at a Paxton Road residence.


12:48 p.m. - Criminal damaging was reported from a North Cadillac Drive residence.


8:41 p.m. - Criminal damaging was reported after rocks were thrown at a moving vehicle in the area of Market Street and Overhill Road.


3:50 p.m. - Menacing by stalking was reported at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road.


9:20 a.m. - Boardman officers arrested Clint L. Beaver, 26, 8077 Addison Road, Masury, on warrants of receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card after he appeared in Trumbull County Court.


1:02 p.m. - Mark C. Cichanski Sr., 55, 5903 Market St., was arrested for obstructing official business and persons exempt from license requirements after turning himself in at the station.


2:30 p.m. - Thomas H. Dorn, 52, 2219 Cunningham Road, Salem, was arrested for obstructing official business and persons exempt from license requirements after turning himself in at the station.


4:10 p.m. - Theft, criminal simulation and passing bad checks was reported at the station by an employee of Maxim Staffing Solutions, 7371 California Ave.


2:00 p.m. - Following surveilance completed with the Youngstown DEA Task Force, Jarell A. Huffman, 22, 324 E. Auburndale Ave., Youngstown, Jesse R. Aponte, 18, 307 E. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, and Jaime M. Torres, 39, 307 E. Dewey Ave., Youngstown, were arrested for drug trafficking following a traffic stop on South Avenue at Madonda.


5:06 p.m. - Brian R. Fetty, 27, 315 E. Broadway St., Girard, was arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Sam’s Club, 6361 South Ave.





July 22


2:45 a.m. - Edna L. Ductan, 30, 1300 Meanderwood Circle, was arrested for domestic violence following an incident at the above address.


6:27 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on Midlothian Boulevard, Gregory E. Carsale, 26, 264 Reed Ave., Campbell, was arrested for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Cortland H. Penny, 25, 476 Harmony Lane, Campbell, was arrested on a probation violation warrant from Mahoning County.


4:57 p.m. - An aggravated burglary was reported at a Market Street residence.


3:55 p.m. - A theft was reported after merchandise was shoplifted from Buckle, Southern Park Mall.


3:44 p.m. - Following a traffic stop in the parking lot of Big Lots, 7110 South Ave., Raymond C. Triplett, 28, 311 E. Judson Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on warrants of failure to comply from Youngstown Police, and probation violation and failure to appear from Mahoning County.


2:25 p.m. - Amanda S. Devault, 23, 3921 Timberlane, Youngstown, was arrested at Mahoning County Jail for misuse of a credit card and receiving stolen property.


3:30 p.m. - A Boardman 14-year-old was arrested for misuse of a credit card, forgery, receiving stolen property and underage possession of tobacco after he turned himself in at the station.
