Glidden and Kovach to exchange vows in California

Plans for the Aug. 1 wedding of Heather Marie Glidden and George C. Kovach Jr. are being announced by the couple's parents, Dennis and Sheri Glidden of San Diego, and Evelyn M. Kovach of Poland. The future groom is also the son of the late George C. Kovach Sr.


The couple will be married in an evening ceremony on Coronado Island in San Diego, to be followed by a reception at the Island Club at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego. Invitations have been extended for both.


Miss Glidden graduated cum laude from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif. Mr. Kovach earned a bachelor of science in IT/computer networking from Youngstown State University and graduated from Pan International Flight Academy in Beaver Falls, Pa. He is employed as an air traffic controller in San Diego.
