July 12


7:11 a.m. - Jeremy J. Caughey, 35, 135 Shorehaven Drive, was arrested on an assault warrant at the above address following a phoned-in tip.


7:11 a.m. - A missing person report was filed from a Sugartree Drive residence.


7:54 a.m. - After responding to a domestic violence call at a Southwoods Avenue residence, Donald Price III, 22, 30 E. Boston Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for domestic violence, obstructing official business, and on a pair of warrants from Youngstown Police. Jessica L. Edmonds, 20, 28 Southwoods Ave. #29, was also arrested for obstructing official business.


10:09 a.m. - An aggravated robbery report was filed following an armed robbery at Shell North, 5135 Market St.


2:41 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on Market Street, a passenger, Jean D. Madison, 49, 1310 Moundview Ave., Columbus, was arrested on a theft warrant from Mahoning County.


2:57 p.m. - A misuse of a credit card report was filed at the station.


3:27 p.m. - A report of domestic violence, assault, abduction and aggravated trespassing was filed following an incident at a Glenwood Avenue residence.


6:24 p.m. - A theft report was filed from an Aravesta Avenue residence.


7:08 p.m. - A criminal damaging report was filed from a Montrose Avenue residence.


7:52 p.m. - A theft report was filed from an Applecrest Court residence.


8:18 p.m. - A vandalism report was filed from the East Jordan Iron Works, 4150 Simon Road.


11:10 p.m. - A vandalism report was filed, incident, Rosehedge Drive.





July 13


3:20 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on Midlothian at Southern Boulevard, Luther Simmons, 41, 948 George Place SW, Warren, was arrested for falsification, carrying a concealed weapon and parole violation. The driver, James Earnest, 39, 1787 Jefferson St., Warren, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing official business.


10:32 a.m. - A vandalism report was filed from the office of Dr. John Esarco, 7505 California Ave.


10:36 a.m. - A report of aggravated menacing was filed following an incident at a Sheridan Road residence.


1:15 p.m. - Maria M. Rivera, 43, 199 Oregon Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from JCPenney, Southern Park Mall.


2:12 p.m. - An assault report was filed at the station.


2:15 p.m. - A burglary report was filed from a Centervale Avenue residence.


2:54 p.m. - A theft of drugs report was filed from Alltel, 474 Boardman-Canfield Road, after an employee reported prescription drugs stolen from her while at Aces Wild Wings, 277 Boardman-Canfield Road.


3:20 p.m. - James L. Earnest, 39, 1787 Jefferson St., Warren, was cited for possession of marijuana.


3:38 p.m. - A report of theft and criminal damaging, Bev Road.


4:07 p.m. - A report of menacing and aggravated menacing was filed following a road rage incident on South Avenue.


4:50 p.m. - A burglary report was filed from a Shelby Road residence.


5:57 p.m. - Bernita K. Carter, 27, 191 W. Evergreen, Youngstown, was arrested for theft, obstructing official business, and on a drug possession warrant from Mahoning County and a failure to appear warrant from Liberty Police after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.


6:24 p.m. - Britney S. Dermotta, 22, 425 Washington Ave., Salem, was arrested for theft after attempting to shoplift merchandise from Macy's, Southern Park Mall.


7:34 p.m. - An assault report was filed following an incident in the parking lot of Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.


8:30 p.m. - A theft report was filed from a Pearson Circle residence.





July 14


2:23 a.m. - Carlos A Peterson, 30, 1117 N. Garland Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for possession of cocaine and on a felonious assault warrant from Mahoning County at the Wagon Wheel Motel, 7015 Market St.


2:52 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on Sheridan Road, Robert Gabrelcik, 37, 1641 Weston Ave., Poland, was arrested for OVI and cited for excessive BAC and possession of marijuana.


8:41 a.m. - Following a traffic stop on McClurg Road at Southern Boulevard, Donald N. Ritenour Jr., 31, 2200 Canfield Road #10, Youngstown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for driving under suspension.


10:23 a.m. - A theft report was filed from the office of Stanton Condominiums, 413 Mathews Road, in relation to a theft from 331 Mathews Road.


12:36 p.m. - A breaking and entering report was filed from Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road.


12:44 p.m. - Deana M. Stewart, 41, 3802 Ayrshire Drive, Youngstown, was arrested for theft by deception at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.


1:44 p.m. - An aggravated menacing report was filed following an incident at Sweeney Chevrolet, 7997 Market St.


3:35 p.m. - A theft report was filed from a Mathews Road residence.


7:16 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on Shirley Road, Erik Q. Morales, 19, 3522 Champlain Ave., Youngstown, was arrested for kidnapping on two counts of aggravated robbery in connection with the July 12 robbery of Shell North, 5135 Market St., and another at Dollar General, 5953 South Ave. The driver, Dinique Wilson, 20, same address, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from Niles Police. 


10:31 p.m. - A Boardman 16-year-old was arrested at an Erskine Avenue address for unruly behavior.


11:50 p.m. - Following a consent search of a South Avenue residence in connection with a domestic violence investigation, Jeremiah F. Rood, 23, 4417 South Ave. #3, Youngstown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for possession of marijuana.





July 15


2:24 a.m. - Following an inconclusive stolen auto investigation, four Youngstown juveniles and one Akron juvenile were arrested for curfew violation, with two also arrested for disorderly conduct and the other three for recklessly causing inconvenience or alarm at a LeMans Drive residence.


7:23 a.m. - A Campbell 17-year-old was arrested as an unruly/runaway at an Overhill Road residence and turned over to Campbell Police.


11:56 a.m. - A theft report was filed at the station.


12:34 p.m. - A theft report was filed after merchandise was shoplifted from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.


12:51 p.m. - Deanna M. Tringhese, 45, 34 Cherokee Lane, Columbiana, was arrested for theft after shoplifting merchandise from Macy's, Southern Park Mall.


1:35 p.m. - A report of theft and receiving stolen property was filed at Gymboree, Southern Park Mall, in connection with a shoplifting arrest at JCPenney.


3:08 p.m. - A theft from auto report was filed from Preston Hyundai, 260 Boardman-Poland Road.


7:14 p.m. - A theft report was filed from Applewood Swim and Tennis Club, 850 Teakwood.





July 16


8:23 a.m. - A misuse of a credit acrd report was filed at the station.


8:56 a.m. - A burglary report was filed from Martin's Mobile Home Park, 4055 South Ave.


10:15 a.m. - A menacing by stalking report was filed at the station.


11:24 a.m. - A criminal damaging report was filed from a Glendale Avenue residence.


1:44 p.m. - A theft report was filed from Rental Corral, 4627 Market St.


4:15 p.m. - A theft report was filed from a Cook Avenue res


4:26 p.m. - A violation of a protection order report was filed from a Melrose Avenue residence.


5:16 p.m. - A felonious assault report was filed following an incident on Ewing Road.


5:18 p.m. - A theft report was filed after a customer's wallet was stolen at Rustics South Side Grill, 8586 South Ave.


8:35 p.m. - A theft report was filed after responding to a theft in progress at Saunders Music, 4400 Market St.


8:52 p.m. - An attempted theft report was filed following a quick-change incident at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.


10:39 p.m. - A domestic violence report was filed following an incident at an Erskine Avenue residence.
