Anthony was born Nov. 8, 1919 in Youngstown, a son of the late Santo and Rose (Porino) Morelli. He served in the United States Army Air Corps and worked as a crane man for General Fireproofing in Youngstown. He was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
His wife, the former Eleanor Schrom, whom he married June 5, 1943, passed away in 1987.
Anthony is survived by three children: Carol (David) Creps of Hudson, Jeanine (Dave) Yosua of Centerville and Ronald Morelli of Austintown; two brothers, John Morelli of Struthers and Sam Morelli of Colorado; seven grandchildren: Jerry (Lisa) Morelli, Stacey (Chuck) Zaranec, Todd (Rochelle) Morelli, Carrie (Brian) Lagas, Hilary Yosua, Tyler Yosua, and Holly Yosua; and five great-grandchildren.
