All Hallows Eve with "Ivy"

The Halloween spirit is alive and well within our communities, but Miss “Ivy” has a special place in her heart for the annual funfest that is Halloween.

A true lover of all things candy (not to worry, I keep it minimal), all things people (to the best of my knowledge, she has never met a person she didn’t like), and all things outdoors…Halloween is to Ivy…paradise.

Just a few of her perceptions (she told me, I swear):

- Why worry about the wrapping…it’s irrelevant once you’ve gotten to the good part.

- I know I’m just as cute without these ridiculous costumes, but if I get to sit outside with “the fam,” greet hundreds of kids (many of whom let me kiss them), and there exists a possibility of a treat in that dish for me, hey…I’m game.

- I wish EVERYDAY were Halloween…and of course there’s Christmas, when I always get a cookie before bed the night before…and I love my birthday…and…
