Funny in a self-induced frustration, what-was-I-thinking when I thought this would be a relaxing way to spend an evening kind of way. My husband and I have been frequenting the Mill Creek Par 3 golf course this summer. Last week, I beat him…I beat him…after 26 years of occasional recreational golf, I beat him, and I must say, he handled it quite graciously. This evening, I trekked back onto the course with my golf mojo in tact, and then it happened. I trimmed the grass…I pruned the trees, I relocated local wildlife dens…I practiced counting aloud all the way to FORE. My mojo had gotten up and moved. Now, I’m not overly competitive, nor am I one to get frustrated, but I actually scored in the forties…did I mention that this was a par 3 course? Yeah, golf is a funny sport.
