My Mind Runneth Over!!MEN…TAKE NOTICE…RED LETTER DAY APPROACHING!!Just when you thought it was safe…just when you thought you were “the man,” it snuck up on you didn’t it? It happens each and every February 14th, and yet so many of you just don’t notice; not the storefront signs, not the red décor in your surroundings, not even the not so subtle hints she’s been dropping. Yes – Valentines Day is just around the corner, and I’m here to tell you it needn’t be all that complicated. Unless your special someone is considerably high maintenance, (in which case, good luck), relax, and think outside the box…literally. Can’t afford the price tag that accompanies a movie for two, popcorn and beverages? Visit your local movie store. Watch her favorite with store bought popcorn and beverages, and let the sparks fly. Remember…a single rose in her favorite color (delivered by you), is much more romantic than a dozen roses delivered by a stranger! Fancy restaurant? Maybe sharing each others company with 60 other couples isn’t for you! If you’re a rookie in the kitchen, try plated take out in the privacy of your place. Want to channel your inner Bobby Flay? Cook for her…trust me. All that being said…keep in mind, if you’re single and there’s no question in your mind that she’s “the one,” don’t become the poster person for “If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it!" Get down on that knee and be “the man.”
