Although wedding receptions take place everyday, I know that wedding receptions like the one held for the Schiavoni/Flower party don’t – I was there. It’s my belief that while much of the success can be assured with great planning, as was the case here, there are also uncontrollable outside forces at play when a really great group of people come together to celebrate.

 

Mr. Anthony’s venue and a highly talented band, which allowed some of us (and we know who we are) our moment or two of fame, provided the backdrop for cocktails, superb food, and dancing, while tables and tables of family and life-long friendships paved the way for the extraordinary evening that it was.     

 

The parents of the bride and groom should give themselves a pat on the back – you gave your children a wedding day full of blissful memories. Newlyweds Dan and Megan, you're off to a wonderful start. As for the fine gentlemen of The House Band – I’m just glad that when your rendition of Sweet Caroline was under way, I was there to provide backup vocals. It was a proud day for Neil Diamond. 

 

I’m sure all present would agree with me – that the celebration of the wedding of Dan Schiavone and Megan Flower was a huge success. I’m certainly not a professional wedding planner, but I did almost stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!
